Latest driver disk updates for XenServer and Citrix Hypervisor

We work with partner organizations to ensure that drivers are available to enable new hardware and resolve critical issues.

We regularly deliver updated versions of these drivers when partner organizations provide them to us.

  • For Citrix Hypervisor 8.2 CU1, these drivers are delivered as driver disk ISO files.
  • For XenServer 8.4, these drivers can be delivered either through the new updates feature or as driver disk ISO files depending on the type of driver. Only updates provided as driver disk ISO are listed on this page. For drivers delivered through the XenServer 8.4 update feature, see the information provided in XenCenter.

Important: XenServer and Citrix Hypervisor only support drivers that are delivered through the mechanisms listed above. Drivers provided by third-party websites, including drivers with the same name or version number as those listed here, are not supported. The exception to this is the drivers that NVIDIA provides to enable vGPU support. For more information, see the NVIDIA graphics information in the product documentation. Other drivers provided by NVIDIA, for example, the Mellanox drivers, are not supported with Citrix Hypervisor or XenServer unless distributed by us.

Latest driver versions

Refer to the following table to see the driver versions that are included in the base installation for each supported version of XenServer or Citrix Hypervisor. If updates are available for a driver as a driver disk ISO, the table also includes a link to the latest driver disk article. Attached to the article is a zip file containing the driver disk ISO and the driver disk source ISO. (For earlier released versions of the drivers, see the Earlier driver versions table.)

Consult the vendor website to check the firmware-compatible driver version to install on your hardware.

Note: Driver types that end in "/" indicate that the driver is the kernel driver module and that they work in conjunction with a related hardware driver.

Note: Some drivers are listed as Dell hardware only. Apply these drivers to your hosts only if your host is on Dell hardware. For other types of hardware, install a version of the driver that does not have this restriction.
